Feeding Programs

The congregation in our Mother Church in Kakinada is made up of a broad cross section of Indian society. Some members are Doctors, Lawyers and Engineers while others are factory workers and farm laborers. The very poor cannot give offerings of money but they bring a portion of their own rice. During the offertory they come forward to pour their gift of rice into a large steel bin at one side of the pulpit. Then during the week volunteers from our Church cook the rice adding vegetables and transport it to villages in the country side to be given to the poor.
